Helping Students Find Their Rhythm 2.0
A few weeks into the school year is a good time for students to step back and ask, “What is working for me?” Parents, it is likely that you will have to initiate these conversations as most students won’t simply bring up the topic on their own! Oh, the joys of parenting!
The first set of progress reports for the 26-27 school year will be sent home next Friday, September 18. These progress reports will help you see how your student is doing academically. However, please note that you can check your student’s grades anytime by accessing them in FACTS. Simply open your Family Portal, click on Student, and then click on Student Home. There you will see an overview of your student’s current grades. Have questions? Ask your student! Still have questions? Reach out to your student’s teacher.
Questions for Conversation:
- When and where does your student do their best focused work?
- Does what you’re seeing as a parent confirm these statements?
- Do they need assistance staying organized?
- Do their grades reflect success?
Plan to attend Parent University this Monday, September 14 at 6:30 pm. A couple of workshops will focus on organization, and people will be available to answer your questions!
