2nd Week – Drop Off & Pick Up
We are so excited about the second week of Elementary School! : )
Drop-Off: For the second day of Elementary, August 25, you can park and walk your child to their classrooms or you can start using the drop off lines.
● PK-2: Drop off is in the front drive. There will be a specials teacher there to help with getting littles out of the car.
● 3-6: Drop off around the building to the side drive. There will be a specials teacher there to help with getting littles out of the car.
● Both Kids in Both Areas: If you have children in both areas, you can pick which area to drop off, but we would encourage the side for 3-6 when possible since they have older siblings to walk with them into the building. This helps the flow of traffic move more quickly.
For the third day of Elementary, August, 27, we are having family chapel so you can park and walk as a family to the gym. Family Chapel will start at 8am.
Pick-Up: The drive thru pick up lines will be open or you can park to walk to your child’s pick up zone to pick them up.
● PK-2: Dismissal is a few minutes before 3:30 pm on the front lawn. Please stay on the sidewalk to allow space for all the classes to be able to line up on the grass. Students must check out with teacher before leaving.
● 3-6: Dismissal is at 3:30 pm from the sidewalk by the exit gate next to the playground. Please stay outside the coned area to leave room for all the classes to line up. Students must check out with teacher before leaving.
● All Grades: If picking up in the designated drive locations, please put your car sign in your window to help the line move quickly. Your car sign was in the packet you picked up at Back to Grace.
● Both Pick-Up Areas: If you have children in both areas, you can pick up the youngest one first from the front drive thru, and then circle around to get in the other line. Or you can drive through the 3-6 line, and the teachers will bring the Pk-2 siblings over with their older siblings. (This will take a couple weeks to get down into a good grove.) Please do not use the front drive to pick up 3-6 students. They get out a little later, and it will back up the drive.
