As we gear up for an exciting new academic year, it is our pleasure to invite you to our much-anticipated Back 2 Grace event, a celebration of new beginnings! Grace Prep Academy is thrilled to welcome all our students, parents, and staff to our campus on August 6, 2024, for an unforgettable evening filled with fun, camaraderie, and Lion pride.

Family Packet Pickup (Starting at 5:00 pm – Porch)

To kick off Back 2 Grace, we have a special treat for all our families. Starting at 5:00 pm, we invite all families to enter through the Gymnasium for Family Packet Pickup. Each family will have a designated packet arranged alphabetically by their student’s last name. Inside these envelopes, you will find a copy of the academic calendar, grade-specific parenting guides, and many more resources to help you navigate the upcoming academic year.

Meet the Teacher  (5:00 pm – 6:00 pm)

Back 2 Grace continues with an opportunity for parents and students to connect with our dedicated faculty. Elementary students will have the chance to meet their teachers directly in their individual classrooms, where they will get a firsthand glimpse of the exciting year that lies ahead. Parents are required to accompany their children to these classroom meetings. Secondary students will have the chance to meet their teachers from each department in the gymnasium. This is a fantastic chance for students to familiarize themselves with their teachers and receive important information about their classes, including syllabi and expectations.

In and Out Food Truck (Starting at 5:30 pm – The Grove)

“Exciting News! We’re thrilled to announce that the In and Out Food Truck will be joining us at this year’s Back 2 Grace event! Get ready to indulge in delicious bites and savory treats while enjoying the festivities. Please use the following link to purchase your In and Out meal. Spirit Store Extravaganza and Season Pass Sales (Starting at 5:30 pm – Auditorium)

Be sure and stop by the auditorium to immerse yourself in a world of Lion Nation merchandise. Explore the wide array of items available for purchase, including t-shirts, hoodies, hats, accessories, and more. This is your chance to show off your Lion pride and gear up for the upcoming school year. Season pass purchases to all of our exciting sporting events will also be available for purchase in the auditorium. Don’t miss out on the opportunity to grab your favorite Lion Nation gear and season pass!

Medicine Drop-off at the Nurse’s Station (Starting at 5:30 pm)

The health and well-being of our students is of utmost importance. To ensure a safe and informed environment, Nurse Aimee will be hosting a medicine drop-off at the Nurse’s Station. Starting at 5:30 pm, families can conveniently drop off any medications for their children and confidentially discuss any medical concerns they may have with her. We are dedicated to supporting the health needs of our students and fostering open communication between families and our healthcare team.

Refreshment Oasis: Free Kona Ice (Starting at 5:30 pm outside)

Beat the summer heat and treat yourself to the refreshing delights of Kona Ice, available from 5:30 pm onwards. We are delighted to announce that Kona Ice will be provided free of charge, with one treat per person. Kona Ice will be sure to satisfy your taste buds and keep you refreshed throughout the hot evening.

Blue Crew and Little Lions Sign-Ups in the Admissions Office  (During the event)

• Blue Crew: Calling all football fanatics in grades K-6th! Join the Blue Crew, the boy’s club dedicated to celebrating the spirit of football. Engage in activities, discussions, and events that revolve around this beloved sport.
• Little Lion Cheer: Girls in grades K-6th, get ready to cheer your hearts out! Little Lion Cheer is our cheer squad that offers a fantastic opportunity to develop teamwork, confidence, and spirit. Join us as we spread cheer and support our Lion Nation teams.

Parking Permit Registration (5:00 pm – 6:00 pm – Gym)

Attention licensed drivers! You need of a parking permit, and we have you covered. From 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm, visit the gym to register for your free parking permit. It’s our way of ensuring a safe and organized parking system for our Lion Nation. Don’t miss out on this opportunity to secure your permit hassle-free.

Pep Rally (Starting at 6:30 PM – Gym)
