Field Day is Thursday, April 30! : )

The Best Day Ever will be for all grades, PK-6, and we will be rotating through stations around the campus. The schedule is posted below, and the day will run from 10:30am-3pm this year. This will give a little more time in class while our Field Day team gets everything set up and ready to go. We would love for you to join us all day for the fun, but the specific parent participation station will be the water balloons again. Please don’t worry if you can’t make it, we will have extra friends to help at that station if needed. It is going to be a great day of family and community fun! : )    

We will provide lunch for our PK-6 students. Lunch will include a hotdog and chips.

Extra lunches will be available for pre-purchase for parents and siblings for those who sign up. Please use this link to pre-order extra lunches for guests.

There will be a Kona Ice truck available this year for purchase during the event. We will also have The Porch open to purchase snacks, too.

For Field Day, each grade has a given color: PK- light blue, K-yellow, 1-red, 2-blue, 3-green, 4-orange, 5-purple, 6-tye-dye. . They are welcome to wear any shirt/shorts that they have with that color (there is no need for extra accessories this year). Also, similar to Camp Thurman, they can wear swimsuits since there are several water activities. That would be swim trunks for boys with a shirt, and girls can wear a one piece swimsuit under their shorts with a cover shirt. They should wear athletic shoes, but they will most likely get wet at some point in the fun. They will need to bring a towel and a water bottle, both labeled with their name. It should be warm, so consider sending them with a hat and sunscreen already applied.

We will need your help with providing a tent, ice chests, and water for each grade. Coach Stewart will be looking for some dads who want to help grill the hotdogs. Please be on the lookout for a post on BAND from Coach Elsner next week to sign up. Thank you! : )
