In a ceremony Wednesday afternoon, Grace Prep seniors Henry Farmer, Josh Patton, Ben Staneart, Dominiq Vann and Jesiah Williams inked letters of intent to continue their athletic pursuits at the collegiate level.

Henry Farmer will compete at Southwestern Christian University in the fall as a member of the baseball team. Located in Bethany, Oklahoma, the Eagles are a members of the Sooner Athletic Conference and the NAIA. Farmer, who plans to major in either business or kinesiology, pitches and is a utility player for Grace Prep.

Josh Patton will play football next year for Southwestern University in Georgetown. The Pirates are NCAA Division III and members of the Southern Athletic Conference. At Grace Prep for four years, Patton earned all-state and all-district honors as a defensive lineman. He plans to major in business and finance.

Ben Staneart will head to New York to play for the Alfred University football team. The Saxons are members of the Empire 8 Conference and NCAA Division III. While at Grace Prep, Staneart earned all-district honorable mention as a junior. He is also a member of the tennis team. Staneart plans to pursue a career in physical therapy.

Dominiq Vann will take to the gridiron next fall for the University of Northern Iowa. Located in Cedar Falls, the Panthers are members of the Missouri Valley Football Conference and the NCAA Division I FCS. Vann twice earned first-team all-state and all-district honors as a linebacker; he also garnered all-district honors as a receiver. He plans to major in sports management.

Jesiah Williams will hit the basketball court at Trinity University in the fall of 2025. Located in San Antonio, the Tigers are NCAA Division III and members of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference. Williams, who plans to major in psychology, has earned first-team all-state and all-district honors, along with academic all-state and TABC all-state, private school accolades.
