Grandparents Day is Coming!
Thursday, November 20, we are honoring our Grandparents! Please invite your grandparents or special people to come join the fun! : )
We will start the day in the auditorium with coffee and conversations starting at 9:15 am. The official programing will start with a special grandparent chapel in the gym at 10:00am.
At 11:15 am, we will bring the kids in, and we will systematically dismiss the kids to go with their grandparents. The kids can take their special people around the school, show them their classrooms, and meet their teachers. We will also have a refreshment station, a photo booth, and more for them to enjoy. They can freely move through the activities at their pace until they are ready to leave. It is always a sweet time together! : )
Pick-up procedures:
- If your child has a grandparent or special person coming to pick them up and stay for the festivities, your child will be dismissed to them in the gym after the chapel is over. At that time, they can take their grandkids to the activities around the building. Teachers and staff will guide, navigate, and help with the pick-up process.
- If your child cannot stay for the festivities, we will ask you to let their teachers know by Wednesday, November 19, so they can take them outside to the front to meet you for pick-up. Our usual drive-thru will not be available that day due to needing the close parking spots for grandparents. The teachers will bring all grades to the front grassy area (where PK-2 usually stands for pick-up).
