Lion Camp is August 20-21

High schoolers – get ready for Lion Camp! We are so excited to kick off the year with the most fun overnight stay at school! Who gets to say they spent the night at school? YOU DO!

Lion Camp starts with check in at 5pm in the Porch. You’ll turn in your phone and keys, get your class t-shirt, your room assignments and then go put your stuff in your room!

BRING THIS STUFF:
– Bible, notebook and pencil
– Waterbottle
– Sleeping bag and pillow
– Toiletries and towel if you want to shower in the lockerrooms
– Comfortable clothes for two days
– Costumes for the Decades Dance – pick which decade you’re repping and then go for it!
– Snacks to share: Freshmen: case of water
Sophomores: case of sodas or tea (no energy drinks, please!)
Juniors: A bag of chips or pretzels
Seniors: A bag of cookies
– A great attitude and a spirit of fun
– Any medication you need to be dropped off with Nurse Aimee at registration

FILL OUT THIS FORM:
We have required forms for all students, so please fill this out as soon as possible!

PARENTS: VOLUNTEER!
Lion Camp cannot happen without you! From registration help to overnight chaperones – we need a LOT of help to make the best event of the fall happen! You can play a part in this by volunteering here!

A NOTE TO NEW STUDENTS:
Can a night at a new school be overwhelming? Yes.
Can it also set the stage for tons of new relationships and a great semester? Also yes.
We know it’s a big deal but we really believe it’s one of the best ways to kickstart the semester and get involved. We encourage you to be all in for the fun and enjoy it. If you get anxious or nervous or anything, talk to a staff member. We’re here to encourage you, get you paired up with some Student Ministry Team members and even loan you a phone if you need to call home.
