Conversation Connections

Engaging in conversations with your family helps to slow down life. It allows for space and time to think, reflect, and connect. Healthy relationships grow out of connected conversations. Try a few of these prompts at mealtimes, in the car, or at the close of the day and watch the connections occur.

What was surprising about your day/this week?

Sing the first song that comes to mind.

Tell someone in our family “thank you” for an action you saw them do.

What are you looking forward to this week?

What hasn’t worked out like you thought it might?

What do you like most about yourself?

Name someone who is joyful? How do they show joy?

Read John 14:6. Talk about how Jesus guides your family.

Read Psalm 16:11. What blessings come from following God?

Read Ephesians 4:17-19. Describe God’s love for each of us.
